Tangle With Heart - Raise Funds for Children in Trauma

And learn to relax & enhance focus with Zentangle!
Description
Workshops in English & Mandarin are now available!

The next time you can't sleep, need to clear your mind, or rid the butterflies in your stomach, try Zentangle, if counting sheep, a stroll in a park or deep breathing didn't help.

The Zentangle Method was created by US-based Rick Roberts and Maria Thomas who combined their training as a monk and a calligrapher into a unique art form that is founded on structured patterning that lulls you into focused relaxation.

A movement that's growing in momentum and popularity, the Zentangle Method is known to aid better focus, concentration, mindfulness and relaxation in adults and children. Zentangle has also been widely used in schools' curriculum in the USA. In fact, Zentangle has become an international phenomenon that now has applications in stress reduction, education therapy and even motivational training.

Come enjoy and learn the Zentangle Method from Certified Zentangle Trainers at our public workshops on 12 and 19 Dec (9 - 12 am or 2 - 5 pm on both days) and give back to charity at the same time!

Proceeds from 'Tangle with Heart' will be donated to The Red Pencil Singapore, a charity that supports children in trauma via art therapy.

Children attending the workshops must be 9 years old and above and must attend the session with a parent/guardian. Register early as seats are limited at the workshops.

'Tangle with Heart' is a Giving Week fund-raising campaign by Ms Shannen Fong in partnership with Certified Zentangle Trainers in Singapore. The Giving Week is organised by the National Volunteer & Philanthropy Centre (NVPC) and is supported by the Ministry of Culture, Community and Youth.

Come tangle with us and reap the benefits of Zentangle! What could be more meaningful than relaxing and bonding with friends and loved ones while giving back to the community?
